DO WORK...working on my buddies house

Well the build started about a month and a half ago.. and only being worked on during the weekends, cuz he is doing all the work himself. So i have been kickin in some help here and there when I can... everywhere who helps has a lifted truck haha... today we braced the roof and then sheeted it all, ready for shingles next weekend..

very nice, i helped my brother in law build his house out in the country, i'd like to do that someday, but no where even close to doing that finacially.

ya, hard work today, hauling all those 8x4 sheets up like a 25 foot ladder was interesting.. they probably weigh about 50lbs or so.. and the wind was like 50-60km/h all day

Shoulda set up a quick rope system and used the ladder as a slide, coulda pulled 3-5 sheets up at once!

had to do one at a time cuz the pitch of the roof didn't allow us to leave them laying up there.. they would have slide off.. and it was VERY gusty up there..

That pitch is nothing though, we did everything on our big ctg up north try sheeting a 12/12 pitch in the wind about 40ft up haha
