dynomax super turbo catback on the b2500
not impressed cause it sounds stock as hell but heres some pics and vids of the install
first off ... vid of the stock pipe
install ... big ups to my friends dad for lettin me use their lift

vid with the exhaust installed
Problems i ran into
Couldnt fenable the stock pipe off, ended up cutting the section behind the muffler
The bolt that comes to secure the muffler to the bracket was too short, subbed in another one
And those rubber pieces that hold the pipe to the car always tend to suck, lots of wd40 was the key on those
Lowering the spare tire helped me to have some more room

didnt have a torch, i got all the bolts off the problem was i could not figure out how to get the pipe past the rear axle front or backwards.
thats my entire point there is virtually no difference im hoping it gets a lil louder when it breaks in otherwise the muffler is getting replaced with a borla xs
In order to get the entire exhaust off from behind the catalytic convertor you have to lift the chassis away from the axle to get enough room.
Sounds a little throatier but we need outside videos. I have the same kit on my 3.0 btw.

Are you looking for a deep and loud sound out of it? I met up with SouthernMudSlinger a while back and listened to his 2.3 w/ the Flowmaster 40 or Super 40 and it actually sounded real good, not ricey at all.
ok so i found a guy on craigslist selling a flowmaster 40 original
the dimensions on it are
In/Out: 2-1/2''
4" Thick x 9.75"
13" Case Length - 19" Overall Length
the dimensions on the dynomax muffler i have are
In/Out: 2-1/2''
Muffler Size: 4-1/2'' x 9-3/4''
20" case legnth - 25 1/5" overall legnth
so the flowmaster is shorter which means my dynomax pipes wont bolt up to it?
ARGGGGGGGGGGGGH this is frustrating.

i think im gonna keep this setup for a while. Im unhappy with the sound, but my gas miles have shot up 2mpg like everyone else said ... got 25 mpg on flat highway doing 70, and got 23 going up to the snow today.
I havent seen over 22 - 23ish in a while, and last time i went to the snow it got 19 lol
