Even MORE F150 stuff!
Yes that's right, I'm posting more F150 stuff on ranger-forums.
I'm also posting them on FTN for those of us who have other Ford trucks.
Here are the new toys I picked up yesterday!
Hella Blackout Headlights. I resealed the drivers side headlight as it reportedly had a moisture issue. Swap them in with the silverstar headlight bulbs, and put the silverstar fog light bulbs back in (replaced nokya yellow fogs). They look much better than I anticipated!

The AEM Brute Force intake sounds great, a little louder than I expected, but it is quiet on the highway. I can't comment on performance until I get a new tune, but throttle response feels slightly improved.

And the Catchall floor mats. I wasn't crazy about these, but the price was right.
I think I'll keep them for a while and see how I like them, but eventually I may go with the weathertech digital fit liners...

Not too bad considering it all cost me $140...
And yes I know I need to clean the white lettering on the tires.

thats what i plan on bein my first truck. love the look and how the f150 drives. easy to find out my way too. nice truck btw, i like the sport look w/ no chrome. thats part of the FX4 packager, right? im not particularly fond of chrome.
The no-chrome is part of the F150 package. I'm not overly fond of chrome either!
They are hella brand.
I guess they had a bad run where many of the headlights weren't sealed right. The inside story (that I hear) is that a drunk worked on the assembly line, and every Monday he was hung-over and didn't use enough silicone. The person I got these from had been sent replacements.

Looks awesome brian, love the black headlights, I got an el cheapo set for mine and night shaded the reflector when I pulled em apart, really sets off the all black look
that intake looks pretty sweet, do you have an aftermarket muffler?

No exhaust yet, I'll be getting a "gently used" (lol) MBRP single stainless catback some time this summer.
I also figured I would add...
I watched the intake air temp on the scangauge, and the outside air temp on the dash while driving with the stock intake yesterday. At 60-65 mph the intake air was roughly 5-9 degrees warmer than outside air.
Driving 60-65 mph with the new intake, it was around 7-9 degrees warmer. Of course the wind and everything would affect it, but so far it looks like it's not any warmer than stock, which I worry about with most "cold air" intakes. I suspect it is a little warmer in town, but it's hard to compare. The Volant (with a sealed box) would probably be my first choice, but I only paid $80 for the AEM and it is a dry filter.
