F150 Raptor
and a raptor would make it through the fence even easier
There's no way you would ever get it insured or registered so its pretty much useless. In Texas they have a new program where insurance companies give their information to the police so they can tell if your insured w/o pulling your *** over.
i wonder if ford will really warranty that things chassis...i can see kids buying one and jumping the **** out of it (since they practically tell u to jump it) and taking it in after they bend the frame and brake a bunch of other stuff..will ford really fix it for u?
13 years ago I thought 29K was a LOT of money for a 96 Mustang Cobra with the DOHC 4.6L V8.
6 Years ago 35K seemed like WAY too much money for an 03 Terminator Cobra despite its IRS, blown 4.6L and bodywork that leaked secks all over the place.
Today all i hear is that 43K is too much money for the Raptor and that 37K is too much money for the Taurus SHO.
These vehicles were never meant for the mass production lines and are all meant to appearl to a certain enthusiest and not necessarily 'Joe Everyman'. Exclusivity goes a long way and to be honest, I find the prices to be darn reasonable for what you are getting. What does a set of those 35" BFGs cost anyway? nevermind the suspension and body mods.
BTW, ive been to MTP at the Rouge. Its an AWESOME sight and being a Ford guy it was like seeing my own little Disneyland in person. All of my Cougars, and my moms 3 Mustangs she has owned all came out of the Rouge. It was just awesome to be there in person. The Henry Ford Museum is great too if anyone hits up Dearborn I highly reccomend it.
