Picked up some cheap off road lights from harbor freight today, figured I'd try them out since they were cheap. Not bad for light output.

Low Beams



High beams + offroad lights

 

looks pretty good, im thinking of getting some cheap HF lights for wheel well lights. when messin around at night

 

I have those for backup lights, the rectangle driving lights. The front's are 5" off road lights.

 

I'm thinking about getting some to use for high beams at night

 

Yeah thats what I did with mine, just set the high beams to trigger the relay. I'm going to add a switch to turn them on as well.

Yeah probably, I like the little bit darker red sets them apart from the others.

 

why did you get the ipod connection? that headunit has a direct hook up on the front side

What do you have hooked to the chain hooked to the hook in the hitch? You need to tak the carmax decal off the tailgate.

This looks better, I can control and charge the ipod from the headunit and it sounds better. Don't have wires all over the place. It only cost me 15 bucks on ebay so it wasn't expensive.

I stripped it and sanded it a while back, its been to cold to paint it again

Yep, it won't be anything crazy probably like they are now.

I'll grab a pic for you tomorrow, whoever I got the light tabs from (it was a while back) can't drill a hole in the middle of a piece of metal to save there life so I'm gonna make some new ones
