Sunday Shenanigans
Finally got around to taking some random pictures, painted the leaf springs and frame finally this year, this past winter was pretty hard on it all. Took the smaller 22ft row boat out on family farm pond and did some good fishing, offroaded and finally gave the duratracs some good testing, some new pics of my pure police bred german shepherd pup thats almost 10 weeks now, etc. These are all from my cell phone so they are crappy quality but hey atleast its something, enjoy.
First new rancho 9000's im getting to test out for a killer price until I go coilover, FTW, they are really good. This also was before I repainted everything so dont hate lol.
Couldn't really take many pictures during fishing because it was misting out and didnt want to have my phone on the boat, but I got one of one of the bass I caught before we left. Fished for 2 hrs, I caught 26 fish, yes that is right, not making stuff up. Farm built/raised pond FTW.
Heres some of the pup.
Now on to the truck, couldnt really get any good pictures of the truck, was almost dark, rainy, and the cell phone doesnt pick up hardly any of the mud on the truck. There was atleast twice as much and all these were taken after I drove home, threw alot of mud off, and washed off from the rain, etc. Also this wasn't a mud pit, it was family land, real wooded, up and down, thru creeks, over trees, through tall brush etc. Also open differential up front, SUCKS ***!
I hate having the window up because I cant look out and watch my tires, see what im doing etc, but I ended up throwing mud all up on me and in the truck, fail.
Also as far as the duratracs were concerned, they did alright. I was expecting more from them but I sometimes forget that they arent a true MT, the AT center tread really can hurt them in deep mud and ruts, going up steep inclines on slippery brush, and over trees. But I dont hardly offroad much at all so their better road manners and wear make up for the lack of MT tread and they look cool. BUT if I was going to be offroading alot or didnt care about onroad performance I would probably go for the BFG KM2's or Nitto Mud Graps, you'll see in one of the pics how they really can ball up quick, n then go straight thru mud, a slippery creekbed and up steep inclines with wet brush/trees and you can see how they will just spin like crazy. Had to go into 4x4 ALOT because of this, but again not really the tires faults, I was asking alot of them for what they are intended to do, still one of the best all around tires out there IMO. Enjoy.

Morris thats how hes supposed to look, thats what pure bredded german shepherds look like at first. They grow very quickly through a certain point, you have to remember hes not even 3 months old and is growing 3-5 pounds a WEEK, but the ears and paws will grow at a slower rate. and Yes i know how you feel about the tire and money situation lol, especially when buying 33's or bigger but it ends up being worth it if you get the right size and type of tire.
Dirty Ranger, thanks for the comments, I couldnt really get to good of pics with just the cell phone but I try to take little shots and add in as much as I can so its more entertaining to read the thread, I usually jsut go acouple weeks without posting a thread and then come in post one with abunch of pics ive taken over the weeks. I will havta agree with you that he is very good looking and I am very pleased with having him, I hope I have him for a very long time, well worth the money I spent.

You know a switch to KM2's isn't really that bad. People will tell you that have run BFG ATs that the KM2s do just as well if not better on the road. They are defiantly louder but they do great in the rain and snow. If I was you thats what I would get for my next tire.
