A friend's new project (5.9L Cummins)
I'd definitely like to learn more about this set up.
Ive seen this type of suspension before but usually you dont use the full leaf spring, just half of it.
Seems odd the way its setup.
I really hope you plan to beef that frame up some more! Keep us updated.

The rear is just a mock up to see where to place the stopper for the leaf but we need to finish the front before, after that will cut the rear so the diff has so room to flex. The leaf set-up is like a 1/4 elliptic but he use the entire lenght of the leaf with a bump stop, there a shackle at the diff housing. that way the diff can go all the way down (until the limit strap stop it)and stop at the right place when going up. Forgot to mention that he is putting a dakota cabin over it, we dont have real nice summer anymore so he wanted some protection against the element.
Im not to worried about the final strenght of his frame there still a lot to be done to it but we needed to place everything to see how it would work and clear the future crossmember
