Are you talkin about the newest issue or a later one because ive got all of them and the only pics ive seen were of the salt flat truck thats trying to break the worlds fast diesel pickup set by the cummins/banks dodge dakota. In the Feb. 07 Vol. 3 NO. 2 they have a wish list for diesel swaps and the 4.5l v6 powerstroke into a ranger is number 4.

The rocket ranger is in Dec. 06 Vol.2 No. 10 page 33. Its 6.0L with a custom HyperMax intercooled twin turbo setup. This truck in 03 was clocked @ 222 mph, but didnt set any records becauce of tech. difficulties.

Yeah but with Diesels there is almost always more torque than HP. I bet its got foundation ripping torque!

with 1300 HP, it would have to be a COMPLETE custom built/engineered frame.......that much power would rip a stock Ranger frame in half 100x.....

It's not the HorsePower that twist's, its the Torque.

Tis true, but I felt compelled to straighten out that tiny bit of disassociation. :)
