If I wasn't able to find the 02-03 Twin stick stuff, I was going to destroy 3 stock boot holders/cup holder by cutting off the driverside cupholder, and glassing in a older model's tcase bezel. All custom and stuff and hopefully I'd make it nice enough to make it look factory.
OR....use what RazorsEDGE used....a early gen BII bezel. I think his came from like a '90 Ranger? So I know i've gotten them from BII's and Rangers before. They are the less offset bezels. Ryan said the heavy offset bezels wont really work on our new gen trucks. I was thinking of doing his setup as well. You'd lose those cupholders and bezel anyhow, and you'd have to figure out a way to cover up that RCM in front of the shifters.
Here's Ryan's setup:

thats the only pic i came up with when i searched. i would like to keep the cup holders bc it covers up the thing i always forget what its called. but im gettin the transfer case out of the bII and hes going to need it so i guess ill be going to get that at a junkyard when i go to get the front driveshaft.

At first I had the RCM covered in mine with the factory level II RCM cover, but have since removed the RCM completely, hence no need for any kind of cover, no airbags anymore but heck who needs those anyways. For cupholders I'm just using a shorty console, but I guess you're more concerned about covering the RCM than actually having cupholders.

You know....I found a manual trans equipped 99ish Explorer and it has a non-RCM cover, one cup holder on the passenger side, and a weird tray thingy on the driver side...MAYBE be able to make that work? idk. I'll see if I can find a pic...
If you want me to nab that for ya, let me know and I'll text ya a quote for it from the yard.
Ranger is his SN...he's the black double lifted RCD'd '03...he twin sticked his using Nissan Xterra or Nissan Frontier boot. Looks pretty niftly...but again...he lost the cupholders.

Basically..you are SOL without some glasswork or plasticfiller work.
OR.....cut your 60 into a 40, throw in a shorty console...and BAM! You got 2 cupholders again...

Can I say I NEVER want to replace carpet again. That was a huge PITA. I'd rather swap a tranny or install another lift kit.....

HAHAH...indeed it is! I found one yesterday...but it goes with the tranny and same goes with the L2 shifter too!
Marcus....you're gonna definately lose at least 1 cupholder. There's no room down there on the driverside for a cupholder.

You gotta have this part for a manual case swap on all 01+ trucks. Well technically you don't have to have it, but you'll get a constant CEL and no speedo or odo or trip.

Needs to have the VSS sensor AND the threaded bungs. Otherwise, you won't have a speedo. They only had these tailhousings on the twin stick 02-03 trucks. It's like a $350 ford part, possibly more? idk. Mine came with the case.

Haha sounds like fun dood. Yea i have a center console so i still have 2 cup holders up front and then the two in the rear(not used).
The boots i used were from a nissan and they work great.
I paid just over $200 for the tail housing extension. It took me and my uncle ( ford parts manager) almost a week to get the correct part number and find the correct extention housing. Well worth in IMO.
Make sure you get the extension with the VSS. I have another extension from a 99 ranger with no vss, but has the manual t-case bungs.
Good luck. If you have any questions let me know.
Read my thread if you havent. I have pretty much part listed needed for the swap.

Not factory carpet and a crappy install might I add, but there is no RCM under there. If I had done a better job on the install it would be completely flat where the RCM once was.

Here is RangerExtreme's set up. He kept his cup holders. What he did was was welded on some pipe to move the shifter over to the drivers side 3 inches. Ask him he can explain it better than me. I know the shifter cover came out of a F150 and a lil trimming had to be done to that and the cup holders.
