Got the new exhaust on!!

Yup, finally finished my exhaust system. Just had the JBA headers on there before with the plain stock exhaust, but today i got the 3" from the cat back to the muffler (flowmaster super40) and 2.5" out to 3.5" tips.

Needless to say, shes loud as hell. Nice and deep, sounds like a tank..
Performance wise, not really sure if it helped or not, i think the headers did most the work when i had those installed.

On with the pics, single in, dual out!

Yea that was the only thing i was worried about was it hitting the shock but they have a very solid bracket mounted on the frame for the spare tire to told each pipe in place, so their extremely solid. And yes the sound is rediculous.. a little too loud actually haha

tail pipes should be allowed to flex with the rest of the exhaust system

you are going to get exhaust leaks soon
and the heat from the exhaust is going to cook that shock absorber in no time

just to inform you

Heat from the exhaust should not be too bad on the shock. And yes the tips need to be mounted in rubber hangers so the can flex or the pipes will crack or come loose and leak.

System looks great! I love the look of duals straight out the back on my ranger

I may try and rid up some sort of heat shield for the shock, but i really dont think the heat will be all that bad, my stock system with my old flowmaster on it was right byt he shock as well and it seemed to be fine

What I want to know is if these headers will change the sound of my truck with a catback already installed?
