Hidden Snorkle
I started my hidden snorkle this afternoon. Got the idea from l2en from back in the day. Got everything mocked up, tomorrow I will glue, silicon and paint and make it look nice.
This isn't a full time snorkle so your truck doesn't feel bogged down. So I can run regular or close it and run through the snorkle.
Sorry for the crappy cell pics
Picked up a 3" gate valve
open
closed
modding the air box
had to cut another hole in the side and trim down the gate valve
open
closed just running through the snorkle
Behind the fender from the intake
up higher back into the engine bay
then running up into the cowl for a hidden snorkle
I will get better pics when I finish it up

been wanting to do the same thing ever since I hydrlocked my motor
but I was going to get one with a cable so i could open and close it from inside the cab
and may be bring the intake threw the fire wall in to the cab some were may be put a valve on that end also
so you wouldnt have to hear it sucking all the time...lol

I didn't even get to see any of the "monsoon" because that is when I went to europe. Dry when I left and dry when I came back haha
and Koyn lives in the same desert and hydrolocked his motor and I got a few friends that have hydrolocked theirs too. You never know
