Icon10 I <3 Ups

thats right boys and girls my truck might be back on the road again in another week or so thanks to what came from UPS today... its my rear shocks and one of my new skyjacker leaf springs... the other one should be here tomorrow along with the front shocks... i already installed my new MOOG ball joints from rock auto last weekend... my new torsion bars are also in the picture and i just finished installing them... not too bad of a job with a $13.00 2 jaw gear puller from harbor freight... read 04edge's thread for details on how to change them if you are interested

You will love those leaf springs. I know Maurice's Ranger rode a heck of a lot better after putting those in.

this is them here...http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

they are a 6 inch lift but i am going to remove the stock blocks and return to the stock shackles so i should have right at ~4 inches of rear lift... i will set the torsion bars to whatever they need to be to get it level

this may be a stupid question with an obvious answer but I have to ask it anyways. if I was to get those leafs do they mount right in place of the stock leafs? also if I got those I could take the rear block and it would sit just about how it does with the super lift block in it right now right?

right... if you get the 6" springs like i did and use the stock shackles and no block you should have right around 4 inches of lift... and its a direct bolt in... for some reason they only list them as fitting up to 97 but they will work in all newer rangers too

Nice, definitely need to see how it looks and hear how it rides with those leafs. My truck rides like crap right now so I think those would help me out a good amount.

Hey billy - just curious to hear how those leaf springs have been handling since you installed them - looking at buying 2 packs for my own truck of the 4" lift ones.. removing stock block.. giving me 2 in the rear...

Curious to see how they have held up for you for a good year+ now!

He traded his truck to his brother around a month ago I think, he still might be able to help you out though.
