Whoever painted it should have never painted the vacuum wiper motor, or master cylinder.

Here are some shots of my 1961 Galaxie, never restored in any way (original paint, interior, etc.). The spare tire in it has never been moved either since intalled at the factory. Only a little over 26K miles:

Dang Bob...beautiful,beautiful car. I love seeing unmolested classics. The old Fords like yours seem to have dried up in the last 10 years.

Thanks Tom! My Aunt & Uncle bought that car new. They passed about 13 years ago, and I've had the car since then. Every inspection, and registration receipt (along with the original window sticker, and bill of sale) was in the glovebox. As you can see from the window sticker, it was a loaded car back in 1961!

Takeda, The cars paint job and interior is original. The past owner painted those parts. Wish he didnt tho....

The more I think about it there are some small things that have been changed, most if not all changes have been noticed by you guys. I think its safe to say its ALMOST all original.

I agree that is a very nice car Takeda. Should pass that puppy on to your kids when they are old enough, that is if you have kids or plan on having them.
