Just some normal pics

Hey all,

Well I haven't been around much due to my new job but I still have the truck and it's still going strong. I have been saving for a suspension lift, wheels/tires and maybe some video in the truck. I should be ordering everything by next Friday if all goes well.

Well here are some pics of the current state of it

Just the truck a little over 3 months of having it

Inside the truck

The system as is right now (going to be making it look alot better, it was just a quick put together)

GPS and my deck and

Deck

Amp

Amp and sub pic

Sub (going to be making a custom box for here so it looks decent. lol)

Kicker L5

Nothing special

Antenna for the XM and Sirus

Tint and antennas

Lastey,

My exhaust which is nothing special

So there is not anything special about it but I love it and I am working to make it better!

Thanks

I can't wait until it's lifted either. I have been dying to have it done and I just about have the money to do it now. I say within 2 weeks, it will be up on a RCD lift.

I have 2 antennas because sirus wasn't good enough for me and came from the factory. I much rather prefer XM so I got that also, got some type of Panasonic switching unit behind my deck so now I have both XM and Sirus. 99% of the time, I am on XM.

Thanks for your comments

You need to work on your install skills, it would look so much better if you tidied all your working up.

i was gonna say that, i hate how people just throw a wood box on the back floor and call it a system. i guess its cheap/easy.

nice truck through! lift her!

Hey all,

First off, Yes the install is messy but I just wanted to get it in there and installed. I will be working on a proper box for the back as well as amp holder. As you can see, there is lots of slack on the cables so I can move the amp around. I know it looks bad but it will be fixed after the lift kit is installed.

I also hate wires hanging around everywhere but I don't know of another way to power the gps unless I charge it every night and then just let it run on batteries during the day.

Umm what do you mean wtf is up with my exhaust? Look stupid to you? Bent? dirty? lol I dunno what you mean.

Looks good, but I'd definitely clean up the wires. The one for the GPS would drive me nuts.

We got the same amp, sub, and I think box. For the box I built a platform for it to set on so that I could set my seat how I wanted.

The screws are temp. until I find a better way to keep it from sliding but still removable.

Dont mean to thread jack, just showing you an idea. Im 6ft 1in and I sit comfortably with the box like that behind the drivers seat.

Oh man thanks for the pics. That's exactly what I was thinking of doing.

Well I also have some bad news, the truck was stolen last night so everything is on hold for now. Went to a bar parked, came out around 1:30 and nothing!

Ya i dont want to sound like a J.A but you've got a nice truck and a crappy looking exhaust... who came up with the idea to mount it like that???

At first i thought it was bent from off roading...., why not 90 it like factory with a nice tip on the end?
