I see you've got the same "canopy too high" problem mine has! I swear every other Ranger with a canopy has it....and it drives me nuts! lol.

American Racing has a wheel called "Mojave" in polished, chrome, and teflon with a similar 8 hole design with flat faces in a 17x8 and 16x8 with our bolt pattern. Both with a 0 offset/4" backspace. I can't find anything on their hard to use website but did find this...

Thanks Shane. It does sit a little high, but not too bad.

Thinking of dipping the wheels for winter. Prob will do it this weekend.

Also trying to pick up a basket for the topper. And a used 33" spare

those 5100's on the rear?

heres my latest. rust prevention and body lift progress. only had about an hour tonight before it got to dark. got a few things done. just unclipping and unbolting things.

actually surprised how little rust there was when i pulled everything off. just slight surface rust. sanded and hit with anti rust flat black paint.

Duratracs are great. I like them better then the BFG's I had on my Bronco. I've heard the sidewalls are weak, but I haven't had any problems. I don't wheel much, though.

duratracs are good tires. especially in winter.
but they do have a weak sidewall. for someone who doesnt wheel though it wont be an issue.

ive wrecked two on my brothers chevy so far lol they just cant handle as much as other tires

I've got 5100's under mine and have ever since the lift went on in '08. Ride is amazing and it's never rode better with Fox 2.5's and 750lb coil-overs up front and explorer leafs, belltech shackles, and 5100's out back. Back when it was still torsion bar, it was leaps and bounds better with just the 5100's out back compared to superlifts all around.

I wasn't paying attention and nicked a gas pump island. It took a chunk outta my sidewall. I wasn't really worried as I have E load tires and they have like 3ply or something stupid like that.

Just installed my light bar I purchased from alon and KC Apollo long range lights. I still need to wire them up but I'm waiting for the weekend to do that. Once I get some more cash I want to add a 3rd light to the bar. Ill get some better pics of the truck in the next few days.

Playing with my new photo editing app.

FInally re-wired the 4x4 lights after the manual swap so theyll stop blinking and display 4wd when it's engaged.
