Yes, the Plasti Dip is matte and I never wash with à soap. I put only my pressure washer without soap and the Plasti dip can not be removed.
Anyway, I love the look dirty. It's like a car in Mad Max with a Mel Gibson.

Thought about the black Anzo headlights, but decided that an all-black truck needed a little bling to brighten it up besides just the wheels, and the current headlights provide that. Besides, Louisiana is cracking down on bright aftermarket lights, so ...

So I'm new here and it's been about 10 years since I had a Ranger, until last Friday that is! Picked up this 02 XLT and the best part- 54,000 miles. Couldn't pass it up. So far I've added the bug shield blacked out the grill and Ford emblems. Cooper S/T Maxx tires will be on in a couple days.

I say not half bad because I normally do not like flashy rims on rangers but yours can pull it off.
Half bad, huh? Thanks for the kinda compliment LOL. Actually, I felt the same way when I saw them - I liked them, but they're not what I would've picked out. Now I'm used to them and learned to love them, and I bought new tires the same day as the truck, so I'm gonna stick with them.

havent posted ere in a while, mostly just lurked around, figured i should post some updated pictures..
dat ranger.. been retired to mostly work duties and running around. only love its seen in the last 9 months is a tool box i got for the price of free.99.. painted it black and threw it in the bed.. had to re do the exhaust for inspection, as the muffler and one of the tailpipes rotted out, and put some new pads in it because they were shot. rotors were good though. she hasnt been washed since the last time the dealer did it when it was in in january. has my mow trailer behind it most of the week, and various other landscaping crap. i had to rip the tint off last summer, other than that she earns her keep. kinda depressing seeing it neglected. it used to be a clean truck.
and the weekend/fun/towing ride..
put a bunch of miles on it this summer, going up north and towing and hauling some things. just got her out of the shop today, needed a radiator, rear pinion seal and a state inspection. squeaked her through with a spare tire on it so i didnt have to put tires on till spring. only mods so far are the smoked mirror and cab lights. i have a H&S sitting in my room waiting to go on, just need to order the exhaust. she may be a toy but i use her here and there.
but yeah thats about it, ill be poking back around here from now and then, havent talked to many of you guys in along time, only person im still in contact with is Cam.
