So do you plan to drive it or will it be a living room conversation starter?

ill tell yall what i told scott.. that truck is useless.. has chevy axles with a passenger side drop, pointless with a ford powertrain. and theyre 10 bolts! wtf! plus from what scott tells me hes still running a 2wd trans. can anyone tell me what the true point of a solid axle swap is? cause that guy sure doesnt get it haha.

Why are chevy axles pointless with a ford drivetrain? They can be adapted to work you just have to swap parts.

I know that but they can still be used. They are not pointless. You just need to flip the tcase and move some things and they can be used. Not ideal but not pointless either.

just did some searches, ya probably not going to happen for a long time. Rockauto wants like $130 unpainted (obviously), and ebay isn't much better. Maybe if I can find a used set.

junkyards are much more friendly. ive seen a honeycomb grill around on the forums for sale somewhere.. cant remember. but youd need the shell, the part that goes under the headlights.
