But the steering shaft actually wasn't moved from the firewall. The bigger shaft was just lowered over the smaller shaft, and the extension was put in that way. Would this still affect the boot?

So if I back off the body bolts a bit, it will smooth out the ride? I noticed the instructions say they should be tightened to certain specs, however I have no way to measure that.

BTW, I routed my OHC wires through the steering boot in the firewall... any idea if I will have problems with them after the BL???

Did you take any pictures from the front? I need to see the camber.

 

The steering didn't get any tighter for me, but the shifting got a lot tighter.

 

Shifting got a bit tighter as well. I need to trim my shifter bezel because its rubbing in 2nd and 4th.

No direct pics from the front. Camber/caster was not affected at all.

Tyler, the lift really wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Like I said, worst part were the front body mounts. I'd defnitely recommend having one helper.

 

camber wouldnt change as it is, however if you plan on touching the t bars get a camber kit... tires will go fast. hell get one anyway, there like 70 bucks and rangers have camber issue as it is.

 

if you put a three inch body lift on, how big of tires can you put on without doing any major modifications?
