A lil Coupe update
I tried taking video tonight, in my garage, but it has so many damn echo's that you can't hear anything. Lemme upload the best one, I'll take a better video later tomorrow.
Finished the motor up. This was taken in the garage, and all you hear is the dang e-fan, which is amplified because it's in the garage....I'll get a better one later....

running a Taurus e-fan. Got it out of a 96 I think...single fan 2 speed with a 80 amp relay.
Well a little over a week of driving the car, all I can see is HOLY F*&##^!!&)#*!.
Prior to doing this swap the car would fall on it's face at 5100 rpm (including on the dyno) and that was were the power stopped.
I'm sure some of you have thought to yourself "I wanna see how far I can push it" and then you have that moment of clarity,
and you feel the seat cushion becoming part of your backside. Well that happened to me yesterday. I ran it all the way to 6800 rpm
and the car kept pulling. I however got that "oh ####" feeling and got out of it. Then I noticed the black marks going through the intersection.
Am I happy with the outcome.....
OH YEAH :)

Went to the track friday night, and I should have known better. Traction in 60ft was a joke (granted I'm still on NT555's and not DR's or slicks)
Then someone leaked oil all the way down the right lane. So everyone had to run in the left lane. So only 3 passes. MPH is there, but traction was not:
1st Pass:

2nd Pass:

3rd Pass:

Next plan is picking up a set of ET's for my 2 spare cobra wheels, and going to a different track, either Houston, San Antonio or Prairie Hill.

it was pretty cool...had a quite a few cars show up. Wish I could have gone to the one up in Dallas (where Shelby was at) but it was on a Wed night....just too far to drive, and then have work the next morning.
After the H/C/I my lil coupe is running STUPID rich...If I fire it up in the morning, go get my coffee and come back outside, it's like walking into a wall of fumes. I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on order, should be here next week some time. Anyway that won't do me any good if I don't have one of these. As expected 44 psi (vacuum off) So running fat....
Kit from LRS

Where it get's installed. This kit doesn't require you to remove the actual schrader valve out of the housing. The blue adapter has a nipple that actuates the schrader valve once you
screw it on:

About ready to install. had to put teflon tape on the gauge threads. BTW, in the instructions it tells you at least 3 times not to over-tighten the gauge or the fittings.

Installed. Sorry crappy camera phone :P

Hopefully have it dialed in a bit more, get it back down to 39 psi where it supposed to be. Been going through fuel like crazy.
