Which Looks Better?

Hey Guys,

I got this canopy for free and it serves me well, it is great for camping, but I hate the apperance it gives my truck. I'm wondering how you guys like it. On or off?

Off, looks like a oldmans truck when its on. Just my opinion though. Why not just put it on when you need it and keep it off other times.

i will agree, total grandpa truck. well i still live with my parents and my dad doesnt want me to take it off as it will take up space and he thinks its cool. he wants me to overhaul it so the windows dont leak, and im like, you do it, im the one that hates it. idk what to do

Find some cheap used yakima or thule racks on craigslist and throw them on there, and build a cheap hoist to pick it up.
That way just run it when you go camping. I love the functionality of a cap, but only use them if they are matched well like mine. Having said that, I still like the look of the truck better with it off.
The functionality outweighs the look in my case.

lol is this a serious question? I don't think I've ever seen a truck that looked better with a topper, they all look like crap to me. I say take it off, put in a toolbox, and be done with it. Headache racks are stupid looking too.

I think you'll like it better if it were painted to match.

I totally agree. I never take mine off as I use it fairly often. It has to match though. A white shell on a nice silver truck looks like ***. I'd keep it on if it matched.

Paint it to match and then put Thule bars on it.

Then I say leave it on.

I like it. I think your truck looks better with the cap than without it.
