yeah we went for a hike sat evening along the edge of the field's on heartstock checking out the draws on the other side for deer. we try and make a trip over there once a month from memorial day to deer season in october, but its about a 5 1/2 hour drive from here and the gas prices arnt making it very easy on the wallet lol. do you guys hunt deer over there? we have been thinking of hunting back closer to the national forest in the trees but we have done soo good in the valley its had to try another place.

 

Wow thats a long drive its like an 1 1/2 max for me. we hunt deer by waitsburg. Its all wheat and crp. We have family friends that own a few thousand acres so we hunt ther, deer are all over the place and our group of around 10 are the only people that hunt it.
