Dont you have holes from where they were now? If you do then thats the only reason I'd keep them. If not go ahead and take off the other side.

I was considering applying bed liner to the rocker panels to cut down on rock chips. The color would be black to give it some contrast.

With them off, I feel it looks too metallic.

If you plan on lowering it...keep them off.

But honestly, if you are going to keep it the height it is, I say keep them on. IMO, the truck looks better that way.

I got mine on for the reason of unless you need them off there saving your body and paint from unnecessary rocks and **** flying up, and if you care the people behind you as well.

ive had mine off and on. it does look better off, but the crap you get with them off makes you wish they were on, bits of tar, small gravel chips. ive lowered my flaps by about 2" to help keep more crap off. i could care less about traffic behind me, they sure could care less about me, but i do care about my trailer and want to keep it in good shape. i 'spose theres some areas where mud flaps would be not nessesary. "here" aint one of those places!
