my first home made bumper !!!

6x6 1/4 steel plate capped and reese hitch mounted underneath just got done painting and wired up my tag light.

dude thats a huge bumber. geuss if you want to plow trees over you can now and not have to worrry about deting your tailgate!!

nah i didnt made my own straight to the frame with 3/4 steel plate.


i feel sorry for any one who rear ends me lol

You should put something like that on the front, the you could really have some fun, better yet have it stick out a little bit and drive down the street nocking over mail boxes. Or trees in the woods. Give you props thought I couldn't make my own bumper, nevermind mount it on the frame

lol i guess if he wants to get arrested for committing a federal offense (knocking over mailboxes), then yeah put a matching one in the front haha....i don't mind the loook of it.

thats what my plans were i measured 54 inches from inside of the fenders then i added the caps and to big lol i didnt feel like cutting another 1/4 inch all around off with a damn cut off wheel talk about hell

Hey, it's definatly heavy duty. Besides, I'm sure he won't be going to any show and shines anytime soon. Looks like he uses his truck what it's made for......work.

exactly, my truck is my dd my weekend wheeler . may not be the purty one of the bunch but it does the job

fact of the mater is that i got my original bumper snatched off by a f250 so i had sum metal layin around.... just cause it was cheap doesnt mean it cant be a functional item...

Should have made it like 6 high and 3 deep...that way it is thinner. Kinda looks like a railroad tie. If you like it then go with it.
