My New Truck - I Know You Guys Love Teasers : P
Well... I purchased a Ranger today. I just couldn't stay away from one! Here are a few teasers from tonight. I will get more up later; we got home and it is rainy, dark and have been away for almost 13 hours. I do come with a good story though, see below.
So I found this Ranger Level II that was immaculate, and very low mileage on AutoTrader new listed on Thursday. I talked my wife into going to go look at it in Rocky Mount, VA; a 3.5 hour drive. We get there at 10:00AM, an hour after they open and some older guy is already test driving it! I was pacing the floor. The guy comes back and wants to buy it. So we waited for an hour and a half. The guy was paying cash but didn't have it all with him and needed to wait until Monday. The dealer wouldn't hold it for him per their policy unless he pays in full, either financing or cash. They wanted full asking price since I was waiting to buy it right after him. He finally leaves and I get my turn. They come to me with full asking price, and I said yea right! I told them to just wait until Monday when the other guy comes back to get full asking price, because I wasn't going to pay that. Then I got up and was trying to walk out. Of course they start wheeling and dealing now. It all finally panned out and I got a GREAT deal on a 2004 Level II with only 28,500 miles. This thing is perfect, worth every penny and just what I have been looking for, for months. Again, when it clears up outside and I can actually clean this thing up, inside and out, I will post more and better pictures. I will post a few of the dealer's photos for now.

Oh man!! You told me that you sold the other ranger, and I thought you were done with rangers for sure. Nice!!
Do you still have the other vehicle that you bought? (I forgot what it was)

It was a Mountaineer, and no, I don't have it now : ) I'm actually glad though, they are nice vehicles, just too many electrical options that can fail (power running boards, power 3rd row seats, etc.).
yep its official, i hate you lol. I really do cant stand you for buying my dream truck haha.
that truck is amazing man, freaking love it. glad you found one as youve been looking awhile! i see someone already put 06+ badges on it! needs 06+ tails and corners tho!

haha small world! i've been looking for a fairly low mileage Oxford White Ranger and have come up on that listing on Autotrader, quite a few times... i've always passed on it though becasue that driver seat is looking pretty worn for having so few miles.
Yep, the guy who owned it originally had a company vehicle so he just drove the Ranger around town on the weekends. No wonder the driver seat has wore more than normal. I cleaned it up today and all it needed was a little leather conditioner, which was obviously never used before now!
