Dropping them is super easy. They're leaf springs, so just throw a set of blocks in the back and remove a leaf or 2 and in the front just crank down the torsions or get drop control arms or drop spindles.

Nissan Hardbodys,Isuzu Pickups and most other small minitrucks from the 70s/80s are torsion bar/leaf springs or coil springs in the front and leafs in the rear.

Damn, Mikey! The old school B series are my second love in mini trucks! Love it!

Oh, and I have a pair of Delorto side drafts if you can find a manifold.

No need for carbs since I'm swapping it out for the fuel injected engine from the black truck next weekend.

And yes, dirt bag...lol....The group I hang out with is a bunch of dirt bags that all drive dirtbag vehicles. We laughed at the idea of stencilling it onto our trucks, so I did it for a laugh, and then my buddy stencilled MAZDAWG onto the tailgate of the black truck lol.

And the upside down emblems...just to see if you were noticing lol.

****, my boss had an '89 ext cab just like that one. Even red! Haha, sweet looking trucks. I hated driving it though, no tach and no power.... Hope you enjoy it!

Haha I love it. These trucks are so much fun.

Anyways, today I repainted the blue interior trim and got rid of the dirtbag on the tailgate for something a little better.

I snagged a chrome tailgate handle, flat rear window and the chrome gutter trim on the passenger side at the scrap yard today.

since I had a home made tailgate handle, an ugly *** sliding rear window and missing rain gutter, I figured these new parts will help clean it up alot.

Tomorrow I hopefully get the chrome front bumper and door handles, and get to install the headunit and Kenwood speakers I've got.

The brakes need to be bled as they are pretty soft and my u joint needs to be replaced....asap. It sounds like a bunch of rocks being shaken in a tin can. I have the new u joint, just need the time to put it in.

I know you had clear tails on your other b2200 and I was lookin around on ebay and came across these. I dunno if they would fit your truck but throw in a chromed red bulb and I think that would look good.

yeah I've seen those. Lots of the guys run them. I don't want clear tails again. They're super illegal and I got pulled over like 5 times for my old ones. I just want the clear corners and bumper lenses for the front.

Good luck finding a B Jeff. They're cheap and plentiful!

I can't wait to see what you do with it Mikey. I totally loved the B4000, though.

Yeah the 4000 was a nice truck. Very mildly modded. Had it been lower miles, I'd probably have kept it longer. It was a great truck and super reliable.

However, it wasn't what I really wanted and I wouldn't go out and buy a Ranger with my own money, honestly I just don't like them that much, but I'd buy a Ranger over an S10 any day.

The 2200 is just going to be clean and simple. It won't change too much from how it looks now other thanbeing cleaned up a little more, some new wheels eventually and some other misc stuff.
