Very good looking truck. My biggest complaint is the shape of the wheel wells. Since when are tires square?

Nice man. I am actually thinking about a Colorado to replace my trucks dd status in a year or so. I drive them at work and even the 4banger has some pep to it. I could only imagine with the 3.7 I5.

That thing looks killer!

I went to a dealerships around here looking at the 5.3's and came to the conclusion it would be alot better to buy a used one and swap the engine in myself. Time for the engine swap! I was/am looking for a regular cab work truck colorado. You can find a 5.3L V8 for around 500 bucks here.

one of the bigger reason I like it is b/c its a 4-door and its dark silver... every time I go out with friends they're like well we can't take Cody's truck, lol... no carpooling in this B*

Nice truck!

My 07 Colorado has the 3.7 and I think its 242 hp. Mine is a 4x4 crew cab non z71. I love it but looking at yours really makes me want to mod mine but its just a work truck. I love the console and the leather. Mine is just a 60/40 bench seat and cloth. I wanted a Colorado and the dealer only had 2 left 1 z71 and the one I got. The z71 was awesome looking but it was only 2wd, I didn't even know they made 2wd z71's until that. So then I was forced to go with the plain jane 4x4. Everytime I see the z71's I think man I need those fender flares and some better wheels and tires.

I was so close to buying a crew cab, 4x4, Colorado for my personal vehicle but it would be ghey to have two of the same vehicles. Plus with the govt/unions owning them I said screw that.

Please post some pics of your truck with that front lip removed on the bumper. I hit a fawn last winter and all it did was break the mounting tabs on the lip under the bumper. I might remove it completely if it looks good.

I think ur truck looks "alright" too. I don't think there's anything wrong with em, on the full size Chevys the wells are pretty squared tho.
