New Brother 2008 FX4

Well here is my new truck ..... i have had him for 2 weeks. The first thing I did was had "Pro Comp" Keys put in and Super Springs in the rear. I was amazed at the 3 inch growth in the front. I got about 2.5 inches out of the rear. I am using all of the data on this site to build my truck. Soo far soo good. ( I just need some longer shocks in the front, a nice fitting tire , exhaust, and I want to do something to the front, just above the grill......like a bug guard but with more bang. Thanks for all of the insight.

I would love your input on tire size? 32's??? ( I want to keep stock rim)

Keys are the worst lift you could ever do. Look forward to reaching your ball joints and other front end parts pretty soon. Looking good tho

What lift did you go with? There are not a lot of options for a 2008. I am not trying to jack it up 6 " , ( I let my son do that , when I give it to him) I used keys on my 2006 and put over 200k on it before rolling. Never had a issue. Did you go with a body lift?

Keys are fine if you ask me ad long as you don't max out the t-bars out when cranking them. A buddy of mine had keys on his truck and never had front end problems from them either.

I see you have 33's.....Do you think I can get them in mine. I have stock 16 inch rims. I was thinking 32's or 285/75/16???? I have read a lot but I was wondering what you think....

A 285 75 16 is about the same as a 33 X 11.50. May need to go with a 275 75 16. A 265 75 16 has a diameter of 31.7 inches. A stock 255 is about the same as a 31 inch diameter tire. Nice looking truck. Those are my favorite wheel.

Silver ranger....nice.

See my posts and you will get and idea how 265/75/16 will look. Also you can see if you like black wheels on a silver truck.

Dig the truck but yea you need bigger tires asap. lol jk. kinda...32's ftw. I wouldn't touch them if there is tread on them. Rock till you need tires.

No rubbing, fits perfect. Although your truck looks higher so you may be able to fit more.

i think that is the consenus on here about 265s... heard from a few guys that they "wish that went bigger" however, to each his own.. personally i would squeeze a 285, dont quote me on it but i dont think youll have rubbing issues.
