New exhaust work...

about 100 ft off the highway my whole catback dropped so i guess im lucky since i was on the highway going 75 for 40 miles prior...

but right now its held up by a metal coat hanger since i have no tool or anything at my house at school so im going to reenforce it tomorrow some more so i can make it back to get it fixed.

the flange just separated from the pipe but ill get it fixed.

That's always a good thing to have happen. Is it aftermarket or stock?

It'd suck to have it fall down into pothole or something.

stock. surprised it lasted this long, 110k 11 years in ohio.

what i think happened is this. I was helping my brother at his house moving woodchips from getting a stump ground and backed up into the pile which hit the tail pipe and bent it. this was a couple months ago and then today i was under my truck and found my loose heat shield, tried to pull it off with no success and im guessing i smacked into the exhaust... just took 40 miles of 75 to rattle it fully off...

the parking lot i pulled into had a small curb, but luckily there is just enough of a bend so it was able to skip over the curb.

Did the bolts at the spring flange just break? Autozone and other parts houses have replacement. If the exhaust is screwed up, I have the stock catback in my barn if you want it.
