Icon7 New Play Rig

Last week I bought a 98 Grand Cherokee, V8, All- Wheel Drive(sucks) with the factory sunroof and has 111K. I have a total of $2,500 invested in it with the purchase, the lift and full tune up. I put the lift on myself, 4in Rough Country with 32's on Cragar v-stars. The Rad. is junk and pisses antifreeze every where. Heres some pics

looks like it could be fun.. fix up the rad.. get some M/T's.. cuz you won't get anywehre with those street tires.. thus making the lift useless..

Dont go any higher on those short arms..

I've been helping my buddy build his ZJ for a few months now.. its pretty damn mean. Clayton Long Arms, 32s, 3.5" lift, 9" rear about to be spooled. i wish i had his photobucket saved.

Have fun, just keep an eye on the link mounts on the body, they have a tendency to rip out.. dead serious.

Honestly I would LOVE to build a grand.. but the lack of a frame is just a huge hurdle, it takes so much to beef them up to withstand the abuse

Yeah the uni frame scared me at first but its just for fun. I got the better kit from Rough Country when they changed there design.

Shane what do you have done to that?

doesn't matter if its rough country or pro comp.. the mounts are still stock and like to rip out.

Yep, I've seen a handful off them being pulled out and leaving the axles stuck in the mud.

got a 3.5" lift idk what name and i have the 2" coil spacers for it but i wanna get long arms for it b4 i trow the coil spacers in. she's got 34/10.5 r 15s (i know they are wayyyyy too big for it but it's the way i bought it). the fenders have been cut out a few inches and the bumper covers are long gone lol. oh btw i got the v8 as well :D. i got it from a friend so i've been able to watch it grow throughout it's life.

I loved Grands. IMO ditch the step bars and toss some mudders on there. Otherwise love it
