New Tonneau Cover, shocks ect

New Tonneau Cover, shocks ect

Got a new truxedo truxport cover for my truck last week and just through it on last night. looks awesome and i love how simple it is it remove, id recommend it to anyone.

had to modify my bike rack but i got it worked out now that i can roll up the cover easily.

and since im no longer using my over the cover bike rack i had two extra quick fists so i mounted my mag lite on the center console.

and finally my new shocks, Procomp es3000. they ride amazing and corner really well


and if you look really close at the last photo. you can see how ford engineers didnt take the time to reroute the rear brake lines because they rub on the leaf springs and shocks, they just added extra rubber around the hose. i hate ford ha

you can zip tie it down to the mounting plate or out of the way. or put it on the other side of the shock then zip tie it down to the shock mount. personally i wouldnt leave it there

I have that exact same cover and they are really nice, easy to install but I may be getting rid of mine, lol, truck looks good man and you will like that cover

I was going to buy one of those covers because i dealt with a bunch at the dealer i was working for. But the after market lady kept telling me no, get the snaps. She said in a few years of use the plastic snap rail on the cover can become brittle and snap off, thus unusable. Well, i never bought either. Looks great on there though
yeah my parking brake cables rub like crazy in a few spots too.
