new trailer

If you shoot over to Home Depot, in the building supply section where they have the drywall compound, further down that same row, they have metal lath, for bathroom floors. Its 2x8ft lengths. Puth up a pair of snips if you dont have any and a box of stainless self tapping sheet metal screws.
Then, cut the lath to fit the sides of the trailer, and screw them on. This way you can throw little crap in the trailer, (such as mulch) and what not, and not have to worry about it falling out.
The added weight to the trailer will be minimal, and the utility of the trailer will go up exponentially. Total time to complete it shouldnt be more than 2hrs.
