well for quite some time now ive been looking for another ranger 2wd to stuff this 5.0 in ive had siting around for a wile now... well about 2 weeks ago i came across the deal ive been looking for.. picked her up for 200.00. it had bad pinion bearings....

any way its a 88 ford ranger 2.0 carb 5 speed.. botttom of the line lol and i do mean bottom of the line no power stering are power brakes lol.. i installed new pinion bearings this weekend and checked every thing else in the rear.. and drove it around the block a bit to seat every thing in... it needs a lot of interior work and paint but body is good no rust i was suprised.. i plain on driveing it around for a wile as fuel saver as i build the v8.. then all the fun starts lol.
