My brothers old 04 7.3 with edge chip and mbrp exhaust would take almost anything in town.

 

almost perfect. i would prefer a super cab with a long bed

 

thanks man i love it so far. but they didn't use the 7.3 in 04. haha they started with the 6 uh oh in the later half of 03

yeah man i would have loved to have a 4 door long bed but they are very hard to come by. especially in good condition.
but i need the 4 door cause i plan on having this one for a while and its gonna have to be a people hauler

 

oh really? my mistake could of been an 03 i wasnt really big into trucks at the time but but i looved being in that thing!

Nice truck man! Ditch the chrome trim on the fenders and the step-ups, get an 8" lift and some big meats and call it a day. How many miles are on it?

thanks guys i love it. like i said its an 01 with only 83K miles.
and believe me, the list of mods i want to do to it is about a mile long and still growing.
first will probably be a 6.0 trans cooler and then a lift or leveling kit with air bags and some clearance lights.
its already got a 4" exhaust but i would like to find an intake at some point too.

i dont know if its a trend everywhere, but guys around here put smoke stacks on their diesels! they just cut two gole in the very front corners of their beds, and run like 6" exhaust up through these, some look cool like this....
