Sweet.
What is in the axles for gears and differentials?
Be easy on the front axle too, my friend use to break his d30 (mostly u-joints) on a regular basis.

Did you do the stroker kit by yourself? Who did you use? I have a buddy building up an XJ with a blown motor, and he has been looking at one.

I used Hesco, its basically a 4.5-almost 6, from what Ive read and looked at, it should be producing 269hp @ 4800rpm and 340lbft @ 2500rpm. Thats from ajeepthing and hesco.

6.5" on short arms?

generally unless you mud bigger isn't better imo. My buddy has claytons on his ZJ with a 3.5" lift and 32s. 8" is wayyy too tall on a grand.

Its gunna be a mall crawler for the next year or so, with minimal sense less trips into the woods. My buddy has an 8in long arm on his xj, the thing is sick.

i ran 35" swampers on my yj d30 and 8.8 rear with an ox locker and a 380hp built 350 and had no problems...it wasnt until i lowered my ratio and went to 37's that i grenaded my front end...broke the gears. surprised how strong an 8.8 with superior super88 kit was

but nice zj...ive always liked those...btw i thought the 4.0 strokers were like 4.7L?
