New work van...but what is it?

It is a 1990 UMC Aeromate, 4 cylinder, auto, front wheel drive. It uses the same drivetrain as the Caravan. All aluminum body with a fiberglass front end.
Before. Needed a good scrubbing when I got it home.

View of the back.

Got it all cleaned up, painted the wheels Ford engine gray, turned the white letters in and got it lettered. I gave the inside floor, bumpers and inner fenders a good coat of Duplicolor Bed Armor. That is a 14' ladder on the side.

Step bumper

Front view

Plenty of room in the back for tools and materials.

Let me know what y'all think about it.

Looks odd in the first pics... but you did a good job with it! Should be pretty inexpensive to maintain with the Caravan drivetrain.

Got my mechanic to give it a going through when I first got it. He said it would be easy to work on. Gets about 20 mpg's with what I have in it now.

I would like a newer van, but at least this is keeping the miles off my truck.

Yes sir, they are nice. But I prefer the walk in style van. They are easy on your back and knees. Ever had your knee cap hit a loose bolt or zip tie? You cleaned it up real nice, it looks alot better.

The main reason I wanted it was that I can stand up and walk all the way through. And it has a pass thru to the cab. Somedays I feel like I walk on my knees as much as my feet, so its nice not to have to in the van.

Nice job, and should be a good working truck.

I LOL'd at swirling out the information on the side of the truck, though. You put it there for advertisement, did you not?

I did, but I didn't know rules about putting info like that on the site.
