Nice parking job
So some lady decided to try and parallel park in front of my truck. Instead of pulling forward and backing up like the rest of the educated world. She cuts in going forward.
The officer quoted her as saying "I cut it a little too close."
The first quote I got was $941.80 from the best shop in town, they will replace the lower bumper, straighten the upper, repaint the entire bumper (upper and lower), buff the fender. The corner light is scratched so I'll see what they say. It was raining when I got the quote so I'll go back tomorrow to let them double check
I should have got pics of her car. Hybrid Prius. She got the worst of the damage. Both doors have huge dents in them. Prius doors must be junk.

I was pretty mad. But I wasn't there when it happened and didn't see it until I got home. I drove back and her car was still there. After calling the police I found out she already called and started the report, so at least she did that much.

Very true, being in a college town, you can imagine incidents like this happening and people just taking off.
Wirelessly posted
Rule of thumb for is look at the car you park next too. If it's covered in dents keep looking. Yet some of them rich ppl are still ******. I just park far away and walk it's good exercise. I never paralle park my truck.

Not a bad idea to be honest. Although I'd like to wait till I start my SAS to worry about steel bumpers
If your going to SAS I would just pocket the cash. The dents are barely noticeable and if your going to go steel bumper then why fix this one?
Thats my opinion. Unless your not planning to SAS for a long time. If its happening soon just save the cash.

The hell with the bumpers then. That's SAS $$$$!!

The SAS is still years away, but the SAS project will include an engine swap.
I graduate college in May, once I have a job I can get another DD, then work on the Ranger.
My dad will start building my workshop in the next couple years, so I'll probably wait till it's done so I have a dedicated work space.
