i don't think he's telling the whole truth. there is alot of damage on that truck to be just from a bad spring/alignment.

despite what poor condition the body appears to be in, i was actually told by a friend of mine who owns a used car lot that i was smart to go with a ranger/bseries over a frontier ... apparently they do have a lot of probs even when not beat to ****

(was only considering rangers / frontiers cause dont like s10s and cant afford a taco)

yes my rear end is out of line a good bit and i have never had a problem out of anything and its been 20xxx miles now...plus nothing wrong with the frontiers. My girlfriends dad works at tha canton ms plant and drives one 80 miles to work everyday and it has over 400XXX miles on it and only had tires and oil changes, we just put its first timin belt on last month along with a new water pump.

I thought he was implying that the alignment caused the trans not to stay in park, which caused the truck to roll in a very bad way

roll as in a "dude i rolled my truck!" or rolled into taffic type of roll?
either way, he's stuck with a paper weight.

Thats what I was thinking.

He probably just trashed the truck, and put it up for the window sticker price just to make a point that the truck was a POS from the very beginning.

Wow that's pretty screwed up. I love how the car manufacturers boast their warranties then refuse to honor them when something genuine goes wrong and it was their fault.

This reminds me of a story about a guy in London a few years ago who had a lemon hatchback (don't remember the make or model). Anyway the car had been in for repairs something like 13 times in 6 months so in protest he lit it on fire right in the middle of the street.
