I know I said it before...but why would you want to loose ride quality and do a 2" suspension and 1" body lift.

The bumpers don't look right with a 1" body lift.

Why not do a 3" body, your bumpers will look perfect, and you will maintain ride quality. And if your looking to fit 33's...enough said, you'll want the extra height of the 3" body lift and the POSSIBILITY to crank your bars and gain an extra inch or two.

Sorry for clogging up the thread, and I appologize if I'm seeming redundant, I just don't see why everyone wants a 1" body lift and 2" suspension...IMO that way bumpers have that gap...looks like crap, and your loosing ride quality by cranking the torsion bars...why?

It's free

I'm saying why crank them if you don't have to...

I think 3" body with bars cranked and maybe AAL is perfect...but I always am looking for more height...

I don't believe the bumper mod picks up enough slack, so to speak.

I like my bumper as high as it can go, from the pics, you can see the middle truck, the bumper has a nice approx. 1" gap. I can't stand that, if it were my truck, it would really bother me. The rear also, can't raise the rear bumper enough (if at all, w/o the PA brackets).

The bumpers get me the most.

There are a few good posts on how much the "bumper mod" actually gets yoou, I'm digging up now. :)

i took my fleetside back. lol. and a one inch gives you just enough lift. it makes it look better and still functional as a truck. i cut grass on the side so it would be a bit harder to get a mower in and out by myself with a 3" bl and im happy with my 1"

Also thanks for all the complaments guys i bought the 1in when i was low on cash just for the little extra lift. U can do the bumper mod on the front of the truck to adjust it to stock height but the rear bumper u'll need a gap gaurd. But thanks again everyone!

Haha yup next week is going to end up being a modding meet again. Were doin another 3in body lift on Nicks truck so you should come on down. **** we could get the 1in on yours in no time! I yet need to mod my hitch n tow hooks, so that i don't have to have the hitch hang 3in's lower then the bumper, and so i don't have to notch my valance
