Paint Complete
Hey guys, long time since I have posted anything related to my Ranger. The last time I posted pics was March 08', before it rolled into my high school bodyshop, it wasn't looking pretty, at all, and when I look back at it (as most of us do) I think "what the hell was I thinking".
**eewwwww**
As of this Thursday she is on the way home for some more disassembling:
And the teaser for this summer/fall (if you know what they're for it'll make sense):
Thanks for looking guys, plenty of pics and progress to come, including wheels, drop, brakes, motor, audio/video . . .

Heh yeah, I'd rather not give some of the people a chance to post negative comments and keep it covert lol.
The paint? If so yep, just awaiting the local glass shop to drop the windshield tomorrow and then it's back at home-sweet-home (at last).
Yeah for sure, wish I could afford a T-56. 6-spd V8 Ranger = hot sweaty sex
Thanks man!
The PCM was free, and the only difference between the A9P and A9L is the o2 sensor harness and clutch/neutral "return to idle" speed. Beginners to manual vehicles can stall an A9P manual easier, some argue it has better timing MAPs, but that doesn't matter, it was free after all lol. *edit I see you knew that*
No kidding, can finally get back to work on the Pioneer AVIC install!
Ya noticed! I was ecstatic to see how well it came out, I was so scared it would be wavy but it pulled off great. Thanks man!
Thanks again guys.

It's a T-5, but the bad lighting makes it look like the box shape of a Muncie so I can see why it could be mistaken. M22 would be sweet, but I'd miss that extra gear.
Just a couple extra pics:
**the need for wheels and suspension before driving it becomes overwhelmingly obvious here**
**this fender lip was rusted through, replaced once, warped then replaced a 2nd time, replacing 25% of the entire bedside. Now flawless**
**the windshield sills on both sides were rusted right through, they welded in new inner and outer sills and bracing**
Thanks again guys, appreciate the comments!

Well a little progress lately and as of last night, what could it be . . . ?
A blueprinted, balanced and assembled 306 shortblock. Forged pistons, Ford Racing lifters, ARP bottom end with girdle, E-303 cam (soon to be replaced) with balanced and .20 over long rods and .20 over crank to 10,000RPM and half filled (cemented).
85,000km block (like 40,000 miles) with 0k on the rebuild and got it for about 1/2 the price to build it. So much for the Cougar 5.0 I bought . . .
Thanks for looking/reading!

Had some time to put in the sound deadener on the roof today, working my way down to the floor tomorrow:
Full roll top, roof and one A,B & C pillar single layers out of the bottom roll. Should have enough to double up everything:
Also on the to-do list tomorrow (for the front sides):
To yank later this week, 210,000miles on original engine and auto trans, 3.0 you will almost be missed:

Its a dad burned shame your in Canada though for several obvious reasons:

B. Canadain Beer: You know what it has in common with urine samples? THE TASTE...lol...jk...don't drink period.
C. I can't pitch a hand in on the build.
