i started an realized hey this is going to take forever haha i guess ill go back out to the garage and finish it after i do this homework
think it would look good black tho with the rims?

Did you use gloss black Rustoleum (sp?) spray paint?

It looks good, but I'd guess it will probably chip and flake quickly and easily.

did you paint the inside as well? i just got the top and sides sanded down now i just got to do the front, back and bottom

no i didn't do the inside. im not sure about the chipping alot of ppl on TRS have done it and said they haven't had any problems out of theirs chipping easy

just sanded it and taped it all up didnt take long at all. how many cans of paint did you use to so i know how much to buy? i think its going to look a hell of alot better. if not, it was a waist of 10 bucks big deal :)

I might do mine. what about using some stripper to get the chrome off? as well as sanding. what about the use of adhesion promoter also?

I bot a toolbox today, if it fits I am going to paint it black. I might just paint it black even if it doesn't fit. When you painted your did you take the lid off or paint it all together? Thanks for answering all of our questions.

i keep the lid on i painted the bottom first. let it dry good. then i flipped it over and painted it. i opened it when i was painting the top.

just painted mine up, ill get some pics up in about an hour when i finish the bottom, i only used 2 cans since i didnt have enough cash on me at the time, did 2 real thick coats all over looks good.

heres mine all done not mounted though prolly not mounting it till i mount up my new rims and tires because it doesn't flow good with the stock pos rims and current tires. here she is






dont know if it looks good or not, what will make it look good will be the new rims, tires and 3 inch bl.

when i painted mine i just painted what you can see when it sits in the truck. Mine isnt painted very well you can still see some parts that need touch up but i like it.

the only reason i didn't bc it is pointless i keep alot in my toolbox. and it will just get messed up
