yea... thats true guess theres no piont really looks so much better black though

 

i painted mine black about 4 months ago and ive had it installed for a little over a month now with constant use and it hasnt chipped at all. i lightly sanded mine up and spray painted it with rust-paint as well and ive loved the way it looks since i painted it. i think the chrome remover and all that would definately be over kill, but at the same time it would turn out looking great. just up to you i guess on how you do it.
