Parents new car - Fusion Hybrid
My parents purchased a new fully loaded 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid.
I got to drive it to and from the grocery store with my mother. Got 46.9 MPG in town on that trip. My dad drove it to show his father in town and got 50 MPG.
The car is very nice, all of the technology is a little much for my parents thus far, but they are learning.
It is a totally different driving experience. Trying to drive without had acceleration to keep the gas motor from running. The gas motor shuts off completely when not needed, so the car is very very quiet.

Good thing they didn't get a edge.those new things are the biggest PITA. A laptop is a MUST to repair any electricity problem and with 9 computers in them its a lot of work. Some of the new gadgets in the new vehicles is over whelming for me and distracting
