or why not get a chrome metal handle over painting the plastic one that will just brake?

im trying to phase out all the chrome on the truck lol. and i have yet to have a problem with the handle. by shaving it it eliminates the problem ;)

They make a metal one? Could you give me a link to one?

it will look much cleaner. dont want the logo on there or the badge

keep the ford and ranger emblems but loose that other one for sure

idk never understood shaving on a truck I like function over looks handles just work idk why get rid of them?

no that looks great! can you do the same to the three badges below the handle?

My 98 had a metal handle that was painted the same color as the body, for what it's worth.
I do like the idea of removing the badges and filling in the holes, but I could think of a lot of better things to do with the money.

lol as could i. but i have a bit of a mental list of things to get done to the truck. and now that i will be picking up my 315's tomorrow. this is next. and i can get it done for about 300 bucks. and i wont have any downtime because i can just leave the tailgate with them.

umm leave the handle man just get rid of that one thing

yup!

i really like it completely shaved, but at the same time its almost too empty.

going back and forth between just the emblems or both.

Just the emblems looks good!!!! Maybe even do a black vinyl (like in the chop above to mask the tailgate handle?
