or why not get a chrome metal handle over painting the plastic one that will just brake?

 

im trying to phase out all the chrome on the truck lol. and i have yet to have a problem with the handle. by shaving it it eliminates the problem

it will look much cleaner. dont want the logo on there or the badge

 

keep the ford and ranger emblems but loose that other one for sure

My 98 had a metal handle that was painted the same color as the body, for what it's worth.
I do like the idea of removing the badges and filling in the holes, but I could think of a lot of better things to do with the money.

 

lol as could i. but i have a bit of a mental list of things to get done to the truck. and now that i will be picking up my 315's tomorrow. this is next. and i can get it done for about 300 bucks. and i wont have any downtime because i can just leave the tailgate with them.
