Ranger: 1 Jeep: 0
hahaha i did that same thing the other day but it was a tj. and no i didnt go through it cause it was like 10:00 and hell dark out and also it was one of those puddles that every one knows not to go through cause its hella deep and soft but apparently this guy didnt know. but i totally saved his *** cause we were just out having a bonfire and the only other ones out there. if we hadn't have herd him bouncing of the rev limiter he would have spent the night. and the funny thing was right after i pulled him out i went back to the fire and the chick that was driving was retarded and almost got stuck trying to follow me out and we went back up to where they were and right when we got there they barely got it out. it was funny they almost had to get pulled out 2 times.
I have some good buddies with jeeps, i respect them. they know their stuff and don't care WHAT you wheel cause they just wanna go wheelin..
the jeepers i have an issue with are the stuck up fawks that are like "i want to wheel with jeeps and thats it!!!"
or the morons that go buy a jeep and then flip through the quadratec catalog, order a bunch of **** and think their the masters of wheelin... that ****s annoying.
X2 on that it fires me up real good
since when, i wish i had a pic of my stuck in wisconsin, it was bad and i doubt someone with muds and 4wd woulda got much further than i did
no its even better. last time we were out, Jacob, the new mod.. scratched up his bed on a rock, then some jeepers were coming through.. one guy acted like he knew what he was doing so we stood back and watched until he got a few people into bad spots
then it was time for his mild lifted 4 door JK, fancy syn rope on the winch, 31s etc...stuck the back panel of the jeep right into the same rock Jacob got, had he listened to the guy in our group trying to spot him it probably wouldn't have happened.
lets see it haha

well wheres the gas money?
btw, i think the bigheadedness is just what happens with alot of people when they have money and buy rigs to "wheel" vs everyone else whos....well not bigheaded lol

yea? you and all of your 32x1150s huh? lets see it. and it doesn't count if you go plowing into it.

Or the guys in other vehicles with anti Jeep stickers on them......
I was actually tempted to cross the same spot, however... we were out in the middle of no where, and the hole he was in, was knee deep, with extremely soft mud under it. Add to the fact that he (the Jeep) has almost no traction on the semi soft spots, if i got stuck id be royally phucked. Add to that, we were on posted land atleast 1/4 mile from pavement.
If there was another truck there with my tires or better, I would have attempted it.
The big thing here though, is my buddy felt as though he was 'all ready' for wheelin, and could 'go thruogh more' because he has a jeep.
At first.... I cleared him of the water. then stopped, but then he didnt move in the mud, that i was in initially. so i had to pull him about another 100ft to get him back on solid ground.

its all good to me, I like wheelin with them.. my longer wheel base and wider track helps, then on the next obstacle their shorter wheelbase and narrower track helps..
its all preference, and if i had to do it again i would have a jeep or toyota.. sure as hell not a ranger

It is...there's Range Rover guys that have refused help from us at Rausch Creek, then there's the first Rubicon owner I ever met WAY back in Jersey that refused to take his Jeep through the crap in Wharton. At the time I though he was an arrogant *** b/c of this, of course now I'm the guy cringing and driving around mud!
It's all relative, so long as you accept everyone else. There's enough people out to get anyone who enjoys anything more than a Prius, why defeat ourselves.
