Needs some 05' alum. 5 spoke wheels. Also needs a ball bearing turbo. Looks good, change the oil every 3K with it though.

Thanks for all the comments.

To answer some questions without quoting everything.

I paid $7,900 difference after trading in the ranger. To make a long story short the car salesman boss told me they only wanted $15,900. I later found out (after I bought it) That he was getting a ad ready for a local Indiana auto to publish it for $17599. Now he could have been lying to me, but I know the truck is worth that. It had some minor flaws which they are getting fixed for me.

It needs some maintenance done to the front end, but its at about that mileage and was aware of it.

As for Mods:
Only engine mods I may do is a exhaust, intake and a possible chip. I don't want to do over 400Hp and would really like to stay around 380hp. I would mainly be getting a chip for MPG increase. It does not have forged rods and without them the rods can only handle 400HP. atleast that is what the PS guys say.

For everything else. I am going to run with these tires and rims until they are pretty low. Then I will get a new set of rims and 33s for it. I can go 35s, but too costly and I am really not wanting that high of a truck.

The cap is coming off soon, but I will keep it for trips. I have found my new tent lol

Awesome mod Josh! I'm SOOOO jealous right now! Haha. Personally I want a 95-97 7.3L, but I'm still envious. Out of curiousity, how do you know which ones had the forged rods and which ones didn't?

There is certain Engine Serial Numbers that have the forged rods. about early 01 is when they started putting inthe PRs (powdered Rods).

Mine was built in 5/01 and I was way over the timeline for forged rods. There is really no problem with them, unless you are wanting to produce serious power.

I wanted a 250 since I was 16, but decided to take baby steps, and never got off step 1.

To tell you the truth the truck feels really tall and slow, but no overly "big" I find myself speeding a lot more because I do not feel like I am going 100MPH like I do in my car.

ive had two (family) but maybe i dont appreciate them as much cause they were 2wd single cab non diesels (a 92 with 351, and currently an 85 with a 460 (for sale))

Come ride in mine lol. I don't have the speed limiter on it anymore thanks to the DP-Tuner Programmer i have on it. I have had that needle wrapped down to the 2nd gear indicator.

Nothing beats and AFE stage II for these things for Intakes.
I would go either DP-Tuner or Swamps Tuning because you get customized programs made specifically for your truck and the mods you have done to them.
Right now i have 4" Turbo back Mbrp Duals.
Plus there are a few things more done to the motor . (injectors, turbo)

Your lucky and have the forged rods good for 600 HP lol.

Do they have a 80HP chip that has a "I want to blow smoke" Setting? lol
