Ranger Updates

I've made some changes to my truck since the last time I've posted any pictures. Did a projector retrofit and got a new wheel/tire setup. Projectors are Mini H1's from The Retrofit Source with Gatling Gun 2.0 shrouds

Wheels are 15x8 Method Racing Double Standards with 35x12.50 Goodyear MTR's

With my Polaris Outlaw:

And with my Jeep on 33x10.50's:

I think in the next month or so I'll be doing my coilover conversion. I'll be making all my own brackets and will be looking into selling a couple sets of brackets if people are interested in them. Everything will be waterjet cut out of 1/4" HR steel and will use Grade 8 hardware. I can make them bolt on or weld on, whichever you prefer. Powder coating will also be an option. I'll make a separate thread for that when the time comes.

Your truck makes me so jealous. I've been down your way almost every week lately, A buddy of mine just moved to Winchester. I want to see it in person!

Looks awesome strangerduder! Lol, no rub on the valence? I kinda want to get 35s in the spring when I buy my new wheels too but idk, might be too tight of a fit.

also, keep us posted on the C/O swap! I think last time I talked to you, you were just getting into welding and modding tow hooks. so long ago ha

35's fit great. I cut a minor amount off of the valance. It's not even noticeable from the side view. Also cut some unnecessary plastic off the back of the front flare. I think there's plenty of room for them. Yea I've moved up a good bit in the machining/fabrication world since my modded tow hook days lol

Looks awesome! Love the outlaw to. I've not an 06 IRS.

How are you liking the tires? I've got my next tire narrowed down to those, or Trxus MT'S.

Can you do me a favor, and measure the actual height of the tires as they sit mounted on the truck?

Thanks I love everything about that bike. Mainly the 525 but the IRS is a big plus also. I love these tires so far. Quiet on the road and they're not too ridiculously heavy. The tires on the truck measure 34.5"

Yeah I love the IRS on the outlaws. I only have the 500, but she still rips!

Thanks for the measurement! Better than I thought they'd be to be honest haha.

The Goodyears run a little big. They're a true 35"

Well, close to it anyways haha. The Trxus Mt run legit true to size. Their 35 is 34.9 when mounted lol.

Tough decision.

The Trxus just look like Swampers to me and I've never been a fan of that look. I think it's a bit of an outdated tread design, granted it does work very well offroad. But that's just my opinion.

Basically is, but more street friendly, and has siping for better snow traction. Which I see a lot of.

My truck isn't my daily driver anymore and is slowly becoming more of a trail truck. Won't get 35's till next year when my SAS is done.

It all depends on what you like best. I doubt you'd see any problems out of either set.
