Jon, I believe that Firestone makes the Dayton line of tires. Just at a lower budget, so they are lower end replicas.

Nice Trucks! And those 'murdered-out' dc-1s are sick!

Essentially yes, the dayton line of tires was made by firestone as a lower end or "house" brand tire. they were modeled off the destination m/t's. after they discontinued the timberline m/t (what i originally wanted) i chose the destination m/t due to the awesome employee discount i used to get with firestone. excellent tire bar none. And thanks demise for the compliments.lol

Ya I wish I could have got 15" at the time but I couldn't afford tires and rims so I just went with rims then had to fork the dough over when came time for the tires.

I like the 16's though not many rangers with DC-1's in a 16

edgeman4.0 - If you use a good quality brake pad you don't have to worry about brake dust. I don't have brake dust on my rims at all. Road dust yes, but no brake dust.

I don't use a ceramic pad. I used to run a Wagner Thermoquiet semi-mettalic pad. No brake dust. I just switched to Wagners Sever duty Carbon-Metalic pad and have had no problems at all with brake dust. Wagner advertises no brake dust and no squeel. The Carbon-metalic will eat the rotors alot faster but I pay cost for all automotive parts so rotors are only like $20 a piece for me.

I wanted 16's but they already had the 15's with the bfg mudterrains all together all I had to do was buy 'em and out the door I went. lol I don't know if it was a deal or not but I paid 1,200 for my wheel tire combo. I didn't think it was too bad since mud tires are pretty expensive, I think the bfg mud terrains are some where around 160 a piece for 31x10.5, not sure though. I like 'em. and so do alot of other people that I see. hehe
