Update.........

The 1354 manual is installed and I ended up using a modified 1350 shifter made to work with a 3" Body lift. Has 3/8" heims on it and shifts ultra smooth.

Had to use a old Bronco boot.

I have the Central Axle Disconnect front axle, so I had to wire it to a switch for manual operation. I can now have a locker installed in the front.......coming soon! I can have 2wl, 2wh, 4wl, 4wh. With locker I can have 3wl, 3wh as well.

So needing a place to install the CAD switch, I made this little mod for all my switches.......

The James Bond Mod:

Yupp, they are inside my flip up ash tray :)

I have a M5-R1 going in, and the coilover conversion as well in the next couple of weeks from now.

To stabilize the front end I am going with the Dixon Bros crossmember.

Got a little rough with it a few weeks back. Stupid stock bumper and lift shackels have to go!

you should make a new thread in the project logs section to show what you've done, and another one in the photography section to show off your wheeling pics!

Thank you for your kind words. I am partial to it myself :)

The lift on it right now is nothing more than 100mm bolts in the torsion keys using the strongest T-bars Ford makes....Sport Trac bars. These will be gone soon as the coil over shocks will be taking their place

The rear has a custom 4" lift 5 leaf pack.

Those are 33" KM2's on the corners. 35" Boggers will be next year with glass fenders and a minimal Spring over axle conversion, with a sloped body lift.

That sounds like a lot of work!...lol

Someday when I get the time, I might just do that. But till then, this thread is going to have to do. :)

Chrome grill is now Black. The Billet insert is Black chrome. The goofy headlight guards are powder coated wrinkle black.

Used the Turtle Wax Black Box system on the entire rig. Amazing stuff. The stripper works as well as a claybar will, but easier. Even the detail spray is black. Has a real nice black carnuba wax. Used a 10" random orbital to help with the pinstripes from wheeling.

Ain't that awesome? That home is the worlds most photographed home. It resides in Telluride CO. A little town of the rich & famous in the San Juan MTN range. It sits 5000' over the town, and used to be a hydro plant that provided power to the town below. It has been Remodeled as a home, and sits on Black Bear Pass. Lots of Youtube vids of that trail, and is rated in the top 10 trails in the country.

Here is a shot of Telluride below

No more Torsion bars to hang up on! Added benefit is the smooth ride.

The Dixon Bros cross member adds stability and peace of mind

Adding another leaf to the packs.
Installing a rear cross member to the frame.
