yeah the "r"s missing are kinda weird, The pics work now and BTW those last ranger seats are the coolest seats ever. if you were closer I have an idea for my seats

Glad you like them. i dont' think i have anything they would look good in. LOL. i'll try to get them shipped out tomorrow. worst case will be tuesday.

 

possibly.....just kidding. when doing a contrasting color stitch, any little movement is amplified. if it were black thread, it would have never been seen. it happens. i don't have the $5000 machine that makes perfect lines every time. you can say it's all free handed.

Nice! The Explorer seats look odd being only half redone. Nothing bad to say about your work, the part you did looks great.

 

My buddy owns a business making items out of fur (clothing/purses/etc) and i deff understand ya on the following a straight line stitching. She does all hidden stitches(a reversal so once its stitched you reverse it and the stitch is on the inside) and it really helps. Obviously not the same for a seat but i hear ya on the straight lines. My favorite coat is fur lined and people have never noticed that the sticking isn't perfect




Lol I wear this coat to parties and everyone always is asking me where i got a fur lined dakine coat.

 

I'm seriously interested in getting my Expo seats recovered like those black ones.

What would you charge for the recovering? I need to look into shipping

 

You do amazing work!

 

all of the seams are sewn as a blind stitch. some seams then get top stitching, which is what you see. there are two main reasons for this. first is strength. on a double stitch like in charle's seats, you put a reinforcement strip on the back. that is the strongest seam there is. there are other types of top stitching, but that's another day. the 2nd reason is for looks.

 

Damn I want those seats you did for Demon. They would go great in my truck
